Scientist B (Medical)

NIMHANS is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as Scientist B (Medical) for the "Setting up of Nation-wide Network of Laboratories for Managing Epidemics and National Calamities" project. 
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to vital research under the guidance of Dr. Reeta S. Mani. 
Key Responsibilities: 
- Conducting research activities related to the project. 
- Assisting in data collection, analysis, and interpretation. 
- Contributing to the preparation of reports and publications. 
- Maintaining accurate records and adhering to ethical guidelines. 
Qualifications: 
Essential: MBBS / BDS / B.V.Sc. & AH recognized by MCI / DCI / VCI respectively,
OR 
BDS / B.V.Sc. degree with one year of experience. 
Desirable: 
MD in relevant medical field, postdoctoral training/research experience, proficiency in computer applications, and minimum two years of research/diagnostic/teaching experience. 
Maximum Age Limit: 45 years 
Salary: ₹56,000/- + 27% HRA per month 
Walk-in-Selection Date: 15 November 2025 – 10:00 A.M. at Boardroom & Exam Hall, 4th Floor, NBRC Building, Administrative Block, NIMHANS, Bengaluru – 560029. 
Registration begins at 9:30 A.M. Candidates are requested to report early. Tenure: Initially 6 months, extendable up to 1 year based on performance.
