📍 Overview

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Guwahati is inviting applications for a Project Research Scientist-1 (Medical) position in the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) funded project titled "Integrating oral healthcare into RMNCAH-plus-N under the National Health Mission for pregnant women and new mothers: multi-site implementation research". The project aims to improve oral healthcare for pregnant women and new mothers. The selected candidate will work under the principal investigator Dr. Rashmi Agarwalla, Department of Community & Family Medicine, AIIMS Guwahati.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

Conduct research in dental public health
Apply biostatistical techniques in medical statistics and/or epidemiology
Communicate research findings effectively
Travel extensively in rural/urban parts of the Kamrup district
Collaborate with the project team to achieve project goals

🎓 Qualifications

Bachelor of Dental Surgery + MDS(Public Health Dentistry) or MDS with public health research experience or MPH
Registered with DCI
Experience of working in dental public health projects
Experience of biostatistical application in the field of medical statistics and/or epidemiology
Good publication record
Excellent writing and verbal skills for communication
Fluency or working level in English
